Get Ready, Go to

Operation HOPE launched today a new set of Public Service Announcements (PSAs), to highlight its new website –, a website dedicated to Americans prepare financially for any disaster or emergency.

Starting March 23, the new (PSAs) will be broadcast nationwide in a campaign to promote the importance of Disaster Financial Recovery (DFR) score.  The program is driven by Operation HOPE’s financial preparedness and readiness division, HOPE Coalition America (HCA).

HCA is the only financial emergency preparedness and recovery service in the country. Through partnerships with industry leaders in a wide range of industries spanning banking, financial services, insurance, social and community services, it provides financial and economic assistance to those affected by natural disasters.

Since its formation in 2001, the result of a partnership with the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA, HCA has strengthened and expanded the financial counseling resources available to help more than 800,000 individuals and families prepare for disasters and recover in the shortest possible time.  In 2013, HCA expanded services, signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the American Red Cross as a second-step responder to help the communities they serve in the aftermath of large scale catastrophes.
