Please join me in welcoming Alexandra Batista Das- HOPE Atlanta Summer Intern!

Even though she was born and raised in France, Alexandra is officially Portuguese.  

This year she has the great opportunity to be enrolled in a dual degree program- in addition to studying Finance at Ecole de Management Strasbourg in France she is also enrolled at Georgia State University where she is majoring in Finance as well.

She is an active member of the Office for Sustainable Development and the International Office. In her spare time, she likes to hang out with friends, meet as many new people from all over the world as she can and travel as much as possible.

“What an honor it is to now serve the very district (Atlanta Public Schools) that reared me,” said Kaitlin.

Kaitlin is a 2012 graduate of Frederick Douglass High School. Currently, she is a sophomore at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where she is majoring in Mathematics with a minor in General Business. Upon graduating, she plans to become an Actuary. She participates in numerous activities such as the National Council of Negro Women, the Black Student Union and the House of Eprouver fashion club. 

During her freshman year, she was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma and Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Societies.
