This Thursday, educators from Operation HOPE’s Atlanta center launched workshops in financial dignity with clients and the staff of the East Lake Foundation, a community-based organization in Atlanta that educates and empowers individuals to lead a better future. Jennifer W. McCrary, a program manager for the Atlanta-based non-profit, was excited to share her organization’s experience with Operation HOPE:
“We are more than delighted to have an opportunity to work with Operation Hope as we identify resources to help residents become economically stable. The Financial Dignity workshops along with the individual financial counseling was a benefit not only to the residents but also to the staff members that sat in as observers. We hope that the East Lake Foundation can become a community partner by working with families in The Villages of East to effectively manage their income and all matters of their financial health.
Thank you Mr. Bailey (HOPE Atlanta, Market Vice President), for connecting the Foundation with Ms. Washington (HOPE Atlanta, Financial Management Counselor) and Operation Hope. She (Ms. Washington) was a superb facilitator for our residents and we look forward to having her again soon. “
Operation HOPE collaborates with community organizations like the East Lake Foundation in order to provide free financial education and assistance for low and medium-income families. For more information on the East Lake Foundation, please visit their website here.
