A few days ago we received word from our team in Atlanta that they had just registered their latest 5MK Partner–the Beverly Cunningham Outreach Program.
The FIVE MILLION KIDS Initiative (5MK) is a national initiative focused on creating a mainstream financial literacy movement in America by joining organizations and leaders across the country to bring financial literacy to five million youth and adults.
The Beverly Cunningham Outreach Program joins the movement as a powerhouse for social good, providing individual or group counseling and advocacy services to survivors of domestic violence. The Program also serves as an outlet for community youth who are at risk of becoming victims of violence, substance abuse or who are impacted by health issues.
The Program’s Founder & CEO, Roderick Cunningham, sent us a quick note yesterday to share his hopes and dreams for our partnership moving forward. See his remarks below:
A nation can rise no higher than its women. Therefore, we are laying the path for a brighter future by empowering and educating young girls and women on the importance of financial literacy. The Beverly Cunningham Outreach Program, Operation HOPE and its partners together will change the economic condition of the underserved.
