Operation HOPE was featured earlier this week on BlogTalkRadio, an online talk radio website that gives anyone, anywhere in the world the ability to host a live show online with a telephone and computer.
Debbra Carrigan, our Market VP for the Northwestern Region of the US was interviewed on BlogTalkRadio’s Change Makers program, a weekly interview show that looks at the latest trends in science, technology, business, and society. Tuesday’s show, titled “Empowering Communities in a Time of Change,” focused on the various organizations and individuals working to help low-income and under-served communities in the U.S. and around the world.
Debra was joined on the call by Tyrone Cosey, Vice President of Financial Literacy Empowerment Center, Elaine Fischer, an Operation HOPE program manager in Denver, and David Bell, a Senior Program Manager for Banking on Our Future in Portland.
They discussed Operation HOPE’s many financial education programs and economic aid services, including the Banking on Our Future financial literacy curriculum for youth and adults and the Mortgage HOPE Crisis hotline for struggling homeowners. Click here to listen to the entire show.
